The American Staffordshire Terrier Club Of Riverside San Bernardino/GWTA

The American Staffordshire Terrier Club Of Riverside San Bernardino in conjunction with the Great Western Terrier Association under the auspices of the Staffordshire Terrier Club of America, held its annual June Specialty show on Friday, June 21, 2002 in Long Beach, California. We had a wonderful entry this year for both our judges; Stephen Cabral (Sweepstakes) and Anne Katona (Regular Classes).

Our club colors have changed to red, white and blue and our table, decorations and sweepstakes prizes were in keeping with that “All American” theme.  Our etched glass trophies were beautiful and thanks to the time, effort and donations of many club members and friends, including Sally Brown and Betty Michl, our ring was the most patriotic of the day.  Our luncheon was catered by Ms. Peggy, who presented a wonderful array of food for our hungry group, assisted by helpers Tom and Marianne Gomez.  Our heartfelt thanks to all who supported our small but dedicated group, and congratulations to the winners.

American Staffordshire Terrier Club Of Riverside/San Bernardino Specialty

The American Staffordshire Terrier Club Of Riverside/San Bernardino in conjunction with the Kennel Club of Palm Springs held it’s third annual Specialty Show on Friday, January 3, 2003 at the beautiful Empire Equestrian Park and Polo Field in Indio, California. As always, the show site provided for an ideal backdrop for what has become one of the premier show weekends in the country. We had a wonderful entry for our judges, Ms. Lynn Jech (Sweepstakes and Mr. Gene Matic (Regular Classes). 

Our ring and table decorations were in our recently changed colors that are red, white and blue in keeping with the “All American Theme” for the “All American Breed”. Back by popular demand were our etched glass trophies. We would like to thank all of those who made donations to the trophy fund, most especially Sally Brown who through her herculean efforts garnered a large amount of donations for the trophy fund. The club provided a complementary lunch to all exhibitors, friends and supporters. 

We would also like to thank our friends at Iams for their generous donation of Six Pack Tote Coolers and Bait Bags as well as forty pounds of Eukanuba Dog Food for Best Of Breed, Best Of Winners and High Combined Am Staff in Obedience. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all who supported our small but dedicated group of active club members and friends, and congratulations to the winners.
