JANUARY 2004

The American Staffordshire Terrier Club of Riverside/San Bernardino, an AKC licensed member club, held its 4^th annual January Specialty show and obedience trial immediately preceding the Kennel Club of Palm Springs supported shows on Friday, January 2, 2004.  We had a total entry of 59 dogs and there were majors each day.  Competition included:  regular conformation classes, including puppy and veterans sweepstakes, stud dog, brood bitch, parade of title holders, as well as obedience and rally.  Our judges were Mr. Jerry Roszman for the regular classes, Ms. Charlotte LeVeque for Sweepstakes, Ms. Nancy Craig for obedience, and Ms. Kathy Moore for rally.

Specialty highlights include BOB to a bitch, the lovely Ch. White Rock American Beauty, bred by H.R. Pascoe, and owned by H.R. Pascoe and Rhonda Dilworth [owner handled].  High Scoring obedience dog (196) and a new C.D. and ROH to CH. Nova Scotia Hurricane Waylon owned/handled by Sally Brown and bred by Lisa Barry and Mark Williams.  High Scoring Rally was Linda Bates’ Imperial’s Happy Go Lucky, C.D. bred by Jerry and Sandy Planich.

We wish to sincerely thank all those who supported our show either by their generous trophy donations, catalog ads, and/or entries.  Without you, there would be no show!  Congratulations to all the winners.
